Hmm, seems a bit odd to me that I have failed to find anything on it. The insurance documents say Hymer Bravo 634 05 2.8 and thats it

Very interesting point. Mine originally came from Brownhills and is plated at 3500kg. In my manual someone has pencilled in an asterisk next to Ducato 15 chassis, suggesting the 3500kg limit.
However, when I ran a vehicle hpi check it listed the van as a Ducato 18 chassis (maxi). I really must investigate this further !
Send your build number and chassis number to Hymer and they will tell what can done regards weight, they did mine upto 3850kg.

Nothing to do with @Celtic Ramblers post, but seeing Brian's Avatar come up on the forum sent a shiver down my spine. A lovely lovely man who left us all too soon. xx

The Bravo bit is probably the NATO phonetic alphabet for B.

The only Hymer models in 2004 in the B-Class, 6 series range were - 614, 624, 644, 654 & 674. If the B634 was introduced in 2005, it was probably only in production for a couple of years, so probably a bit rare. In mid-2006, Hymer introduced a new body shape with the new Fiat engines. Some of the model numbers were carried through, like the popular B544.

Suggest you check the Hymer weight plate to confirm your model number.

PS. Yes there is a B634 built on a 3500kg chassis with rear lounge.

There was a B634 made in 2003 according to my copy of the catalogue for that year (see image). Although yours was registered in 2005, there is a possibility that it is from an earlier model year as dealers often keep them in stock for some time before sale (and registration). Generally, Hymer produced a composite user manual covering several models. If that is what you are looking for, there may not be one specific to the B634.

Our friends have one the same as yours and are very happy with it. They have had new curtains and upholstery done and the layout is great.

Aww Mousy that is lovely to know, I hope they continue to be happy, we are over the Moon with it, but we are hard pushed to find how high in meters it is or feet, the only other place to look I guess is the plate on the side that also says 3.5kg We do not see the dimensions in the books or paper work so I will need to ring fullers I guess (walks off feeling a right newbie)

Plus anything that has been stuck on the roof after it came out of the factory.

A Woosh bang

For all practical purposes.. call it 3 meters (9.8ft ) and you won't go wrong ..

I also have an auto sat dish and just clear a 3mt height barrier .. common in France at supermarkets..
