Could anyone please assist me with a query.
We have recently bought the above vehicle and would like to add an inflatable awning.
We have looked at a Dometic Rally Pro 390.
There appears to be 2 types, static & drive away.
We don’t require the drive away.
Can anyone tell me is the static will connect in someway to the Omnistor that we already have fitted with it retracted?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Paul

The Omnistor wind out awning should have a slide in awning rail fitted just inside its outer cover , at its bottom edge , but you will have to check that it is the correct size rail for the awning you want to purchase (although most fit both sizes of rail). You may have to wind it out a bit to fit the awning into the rail and then back in.

Thanks Geoff, I have checked and it fits just fine! Thanks for you help with this.

We have the the 330 non - driveaway. I suggest that if you can, you try to slot it into the Omnistor without winding it out - a step ladder helps! At the most wind it out a few inches. The awning is very heavy and makes it very difficult to retract the Omnistor if you wind it out too far.
It's a very good piece of kit though and well worth it when erected. I would just check that you actually need the 390. The 330 is more than adequate for us and we could probably have managed with the 260

Do you have a Hymer BMLI 780 with the Goldschmitt self levelling system? My worry is when the legs are down and the vehicle is levelled, the height changes from 265 to 275. Right on the threshold between the S and the M!

Was this for me? We don't have a Hymer I am afraid but we do have self levelling. I thing all you can do is measure the height when level on a 'typical' pitch and go with that.
Are you aware that Dometic have rationalised their sizes, and they now offer some degree of adjustment. If you need advice, we bought ours from Camping International at Gravesend. They were very helpful with information and good prices too.

Moly looking at the details of the Rally air pro 390M , it seems to be adjustable in height between 265 - 295 ( S is 235- 265) so would the 390M not be the correct size for your Hymer and fit with or without the legs being used ?
