Today was the day to take my fridge out and replace the 240 element and thermostat.
I thought take it out and take it in to shed and give it a good sorting, replace parts and clean the gas side.
Well that didn't go to plan, the bloody thing won't go through the door, so had to do it in the van.
Tomorrow is finish fitting it in.

Oh bum. What do you do if it ever packs in completely and needs replacing?

That doesn't seem right you wouldn't be able to fit a new fridge. Do you need to take the fridge door off to get it through the hab door?

not long enough
sounds bonkers, but have heard similar before o_O

having said that, with all the issues we have had with ours, including a damaged fridge, the Dometic in our Hymer does fit through the Hartal habitation door at least, although we never actually the new pone I bought due to issues getting our tech tower out, but the replacement got transported to Terry (and back again) inside ours

best of luck finishing off, hope you have solved your problem :)(y)

many many years! since I was a kid
if you lay the passenger seat flat they will normally go through the cab door which is wider

Lenny hb- I did measure and I think it would still be tight.

The big1, I think that's the way but I thought I'd just do it in van.
