Looking around for a Hymer Exsis 562 to buy I have come across this.

Does anyone have an idea why this van does not have a Hymer grill? Has Ford instead.

Many thanks

Martin

That is unusual. Can't tell you the reason unfortunately, but I too have never seen one like it.

Not a standard Ford grill either - interesting !

Just found on another forum, somebody was selling their
2012 Exsis 562 on a 140hp Ford Transit chassis.

Yep..they came on Ford chassis as well. not sure if they still do though..

Thanks for the responses.

Ford Chassis is correct for this Van. Has had good reviews from what I have seen. I am just unsure why there is no Hymer grill on this particular van when there is on all other examples I have seen.

I have emailed dealer (in Germany) to ask why and been told that van has 'original grill', whatever that means?

I have a 2010 Hymer 562 on a Ford chassis and it has the Hymer grill.

Perhaps when bought new there was a choice? Personally I don't like the big Hymer cut-out so would have chosen the Ford one instead.

Maybe someone 'nicked' the Fiat badge, (which is circular), and a Ford badge (which is a bit larger and oval), has been fitted to hide the damage caused when the Fiat badge was taken?
