This is not for us, we prefer to travel at our own pace in the general direction and offen changes are made on route, 🤔 but many people want or need a leader to guide them, I remember years ago following a tour guide around Venice it wasn't long before we left the group and did our own thing. 😁

The other thing that concerns me is, would I be happy sending money to a couple of full timers with an address/ post box or whatever and not that many reviews from previous tours, 😯 but that's just us, having lost money while in business over the years. 🙂 Bob.

Just an aside to this, if we ever get back to normal, and start going again, and anyone would like an heads up to getting on the tunnel and going to an Aire ( gravelines? :giggle: ) and other tips of traveling in France, I would be more than happy to escort anyone who may be a bit wary of a first trip over, just the first couple of days then you will be on your own, for free.

We haven’t done motorhome tours, but have done three flotilla sailing holidays. Although we could sail alone, we much preferred the group situation. We had skipper briefings every morning, with a destination harbour given every evening, and then were free to get to the destination on our own, meeting up with the flotilla to spend the evening together.

We thoroughly enjoyed it, and our Rob had a brilliant time with the youngsters on the other boats.

The motorhome tours sound a really good idea to us, and carolyn ‘s experience sounded really positive.

We also did a ‘bespoke’ tour of India and were really glad we did. We saw things we would never have seen on our own. (y)
