a class 890 hymer
Bought a new Hymer BML890 in October 2020, at 15 months old a touch sensitive light( shaded not recessed) spontaneously turned itself on and started flickering could not turn it off, the touch unit became exceedingly hot then it burned out. In my mind it could have been a fire hazard and potentially life threatening. Travelworld have been slow to respond and I’m worried that 3 other similar lights could develop the same fault. Especially if we are not there to address this by killing all electricity in the van! Perhaps I should report this to the H&S executive? Any ideas why, what next etc please?

Hopefully just a one off as most vans use similar lights these days. Our last two Hymers have had them and I must admit we never turn the electrics off when the vans parked up not in use, even been away for 6 weeks & left the van on the drive with the panel on.
