Hymer B678 windscreen wipers again!

Sorry sorry sorry. Yes I am sorry to bring up this question again. I have searched the forums and found a fair bit on Hymer windscreen wipers but sadly none of the questions or answers seem to fit my problem.
I have made a little video below which illustrates what is happening but to summarise:
Stalk up = windscreen wipers move but stop when released and don't 'park'
one down = intermittent wipe not working
two down = normal speed wipe not working
three down = fast wipe - wiping at normal speed not fast

MOT passed at the beginning of August. Only found this fault when it started raining yesterday on our break in the Isle of Wight.

The wiper motor is a BB systemtechnik model BB403868/12-R

the controller is a SCHAUDT WSF 02-2 x250

The chances are it’s you lever. On the steering wheel 2 options. I get some electrical cleaner remove the cover and clean it see if that does the job ,failing that see if you can find a replacement lever on the web and change it

When I got my B544 new in Feb 2016 after a short while I had a similar problem with my wipers , unpredictable and unreliable. I took it back to Becks the dealer who initially couldn’t find what was wrong and while I waited and watched they tried a motor off a new a class on the forecourt and then exchanged the small connecting module ( I think) near the motor not sure which one solved the problem but it did and it’s been fine since.
