Hymer B534 alarming on ignition

Hi there,
First time posting here. We have a 4 year old Hymer Duo Mobil and we're trying to set off on a trip but the engine is alarming on ignition. We thought we'd located the problem - we've always had an issue with the passenger-side step not retracting. Today we realised that the bottom door clasp was misaligned and it was stopping the hook gripping it. We've sorted that but it is still alarming. We've checked everything we can think of and there is no warning light on the dashboard. Could it be something to do with the door sensor? Or would that show up as a warning on the dashboard? Or maybe it's something entirely different but I'm stumped! Does anyone have any idea?

What alarm? A light? A buzzer? Won’t start?

It was an audible alarm which GreenFlag have sorted for us. It related to the passenger door and step. The door has never closed properly and it has caused problems with the step not retracting. The engineer disconnected the fuse relating to the door alarm and it has sorted it. We just have to remember to check the step is in before driving off but at least we can now set off - 6 hours later. Thanks for replying.
