Has anybody on this forum ever stripped the Alko Axles as mine are part seized and think the only way to properly free them is to dismantle and rebuild.

i believe early ones are under tension even with wheels off the ground.

Early ones had three parallel torsion rods per side...later ones have a single rod.

I dont think you'll source any spare parts needed.

Replacement axle...circa £1500

Hello just a thought for you ,I just cheek it and there a number so have a look .Go on GOOGLE ask for ALKO AXLE REPAIRS ,which I just did and it gives you information of how it works on video and other info hope you get the right info from it cheers:Doh:

Thats all about Caravan Rubber Axles not the Motorhome Steel Axles.
