Attached photo is of the socket adjacent the sink, do they come upside down like ours and if so why.
How do I get the front off to turn it around without damaging it

I see why it's upside down but the logic beats me.
Why didn't they simply put the 230v socket at the bottom the correct way up and the 12v above it.
German logic I suppose.
If you just turn the socket over any plug lead will obstruct the 12v socket.
Put a broad thin blade between the silver and black bits at the side and the outer bezel will lever/pop off and the sockets will be screwed, I suppose it depends if the wires are long enough to swap over.

A flat paint scraper should spread any marks when lifting off.

Same fittings as on my Hymer. I always take them off by gently prising the silver mount off with a small flat screwdriver. You will probably find that the black inner bezel one each plug will not come off with the outer bit, so will need prising off individually. You can then see the screws and is just a case of unscrewing it. As PJ says you will block the 12V one if you just turn it round. You should be able to swap them though, so the 12V is on the top and the 240V is the correct way around and on the bottom. Make sure you isolate the 240V and the pull the fuse for the 12V socket.

Use a long thin blade so you apply pressure along the whole side. I use a thin steel rule. If you don't apply even pressure along the side on the double units easy to crack them, been there done that.

Don't have an upside down problem on mine, if it's a proper Hymer it will have Schoko sockets, plugs can be inserted either way up.:ROFLMAO:
