Hi

Can anyone advise me on purchasing a Hymer 2007 classic B544 , see link below 👇

What should I be looking for ? It has 103000km and I believe service history etc , galvanised chassis also what is your take on a left hand drive ? I live in Dublin Ireland and like the Uk we drive on the right side of the road 😊

We have had a t6 vw for over 6 years , however we have 3 kids , so 5 in our family , so time to move up - the B544 has 6 berths on the log book and 5 seated seats , so that would suit our family

Any feedback would be great 👍

My first thought is

That's 5-8k overpriced . I've seen 2012 model 544 hymers for that money

We sold a more-or-less identical Hymer B544 with all the usual bells and whistles plus a few more, about a year ago, ours had less miles and we got just under £30k for it.
You also need to be aware of the potential issue with weight, ours had been upbadged to 3850kg and we routinely travelled at a little over 3600kg, getting down to 3500kg would have required compromises.

Sorry just seen this so may be too late to help but...

I've only briefly driven an A-class & didn't like it but for about 11 years my 'daily driver' was a left hand drive Smart.

I loved it to bits. Get in & out on the pavement side & don't need to see round the car in front esp when overtaking, (the usual time it matters) due to not often having the power or need to do so. But in one of those you'd usually be seeing over the top of the car in front, as well as not often having the need or power to overtake, but when you go you'll get a good view of how close you can get to it.

So I'd say LHD is a bonus.
