Hi all was just wondering if anybody has had a hydraulic levelling system fitted to their motorhome. I was thinking of having a system fitted to my N&B Flair and would like to hear your opinion on what system you think is the best value for money, thanks Ray

We had the E&P system fitted by Mick and his boys at SAP in Doncaster.
Initially hesitant at spending out 5k, but once we had it fitted, we realised it was money well spent
SAP have a very good reputation amongst Funsters that have had work carried out by SAP on their motorhomes for very good reason.

We had E&P on our Flair fitted by SAP at Doncaster, I have been told that MORELO are going over to the HPC system so hopefully they are good as well and always good reports about AS Suspension so you seem to have a choice, I like the wireless remote that you can get with E&P, can you get that on the HPC system? although saying that I understand that E&P have changed the remote since we got ours and its not a panel that you clip out rather than a separate remote.

You get the phone app with the HPC, very simple to operate, so no remote to store. We both have the app on our phones so either one can do the levelling in or out of the motorhome.

Another vote fo HPC at AS Air Suspension near Warrington .. they fitted hydraulic system to our current Hymer along with air assistance for the rear axle.
We have used them for three motorhomes and more than satisfied with quality of service and workmanship.

Thanks folks for all your replies with regards to hydraulic leveling systems. Spoke to E&P at Blackburn today who are only 40 min drive away so when things get back to some kind of normality will pay them a visit. Has anybody got any thoughts on the Goldschmitt system, I spoke to them when I was at Polch and their price was a lot better than Travel word. Ray.

We all make our decisions for different reasons but I would advise against considering a nearer location as a good reason.
We could have chosen E&P in Doncaster, only 50 minutes away but chose HPC in Warrington, an awful cross Pennines two hour journey.
We’ve been back for servicing but made it part of a break away to that area.

We have MAVE which is excellent and the only company that offers a 3 year European warranty

Pretty sure Blackburn is head office not fitting so they will point you towards one of their approved fitters.

Yes Martin Blackburn is E&P head office but they also have a fitting centre there as well. Did you have 2 ton or 3 ton Jack's fitted to your Flair. Ray.

Didn’t realise that👍 3t I guess, I know Mick said he would fit the heavier ones

tbf, its 4 hydraulic rams and a motor, AFAICS its initial spec thats key not potential for failure.
Don't forget the pump and the electrical connections and controls. Anything mechanical can breakdown therefore a warranty is essential.

They seem pretty reliable. Ive had them for about 9 years on 2 mhs. The only complaint I've heard/read is one instance of chrome peeling on rams which I think was a post on here.

That's not the point is it? I imagine that anyone investing around 5k would expect a warranty.

We’ve had both Goldscmidt and E&P levellers.
Not much difference between the two except that E&P has a remote option.
Given the choice I’d deal with a local supplier just in case of service requirements.

For the OP. Don't underestimate the value of these jacks in high winds (common in Spain in winter, near the coast) as they can turn a night when its impossible to sleep because of the van movement, to a night where the wind is a much reduced intrusion and sleep is possible.

E&P by SAP in Doncaster here as well, apart from them being about 30 mins away it was how neat the whole installation was and i'm on about under the van and not just the bits you see. All the hoses are made on site so made to length rather than having coils of unwanted hose tie-wrapped to the chassis. If you want it removing to a new van them they'll do this as well and once again chuck away the hoses and make you all new ones.

its the backup service thats important to me and i can't fault Mick tbh, he's not the cheapest mind you but you get what you pay for
