Hungary Vignette fine/details needed? (1 Viewer)

Sorry to add onto my previous post on this issue but this seems to be affecting a lot of us and not just Hungary .Went to Hungary in May-bought a Vignette which consisted of one printed paper with payment details on and reg no nothing else was given.The EPC/plc (2 fines issued) are saying I should have a "receipt" as well and if not contact where I bought it from and get one.As it was over 5 months ago I have no idea how to get it.As far as I am concerned the printed Vignette I have should be enough of proof I paid.I feel I am being "bullied " into paying a fine I don't owe.I have just sent them a E-mail and a recorded delivery stating this and copy of V5/Vignette paper and cant think of anything else to do --I certainly don't want to pay fine I don't owe and dont look forward to the stress of going to court in the end. Has anyone else had a Vignette for Hungary with other receipts etc?

Search "toll pass in Hungary" in today's The Guardian for advice on being chased in UK for non- payment of Hungarian fine. (Sorry, don't know how to post link.)

Make a complaint to the EU using this.

My agrivation caused by EPC being adamant ("we will frighten you into paying extortionate fine -even if you are legal ) -I even sent them a copy of Vignette /V5 but they were unmoved.It even made me feel like it was too risky going over to Europe.But I am determined to go to court if needed as I am correct and will not be bullied by them .This is the current EU attitude towards GB leaving the EU (which I would vote to leave even more now).My last e-mail to them I told them as I have produced all the correct paperwork could they supply an E-mail address so I could keep a copy of our correspondence for future reference as their site only works one was (in their faviour )-not had an answer yet! Why the stupidly high fines for trivial "offences" makes you wonder what life will be like if we have another vote and stay in the EU-they sh""t on us now -it would only get worse??

Update -I have sent a letter to EPC asking for details of their proof of legality off Hungary to issue the fines (incorrectly issued) to me -will update when /if I receive an answer.This seems to affect us all so needs looking into.Reguards Chris,,,,
