Dealer it said. We’ve been to Canada a couple of times and leaving the airport at Calgary heading to Edmonton the dealerships spread for miles, I‘ve never seen so many RV’s.

Hmm, I'll bet the insurance company finds a way to squirm out, like they shouldn't have them in storage pound with gas bottles fitted.

It looks like a lot of the area was flooded anyway so they may have been 'left' to burn as they'd be right-offs anyway.

Vancouver Sun website says about a 100 RVs, but I counted at least 300 burnt out in their picture. Say £60,000 each, that's in the order of £18m!!!

It'll have been rammed with stored RV rentals now the season is over.

Abbotsford is where one of my clients lives and operates his business from.
They are in the midst of major flooding over the last 2 weeks. With mudslides and major roads cut off.
This follows record temperatures in June.

They are breaking all sorts of records this year.

It’s illustrates why we need to maintain a distance at events and meetings. I went to 2 sites, both run by the same family, where all vans and motorhomes were shoehorned in and fire could easily spread.

Terrible thing to watch.

Chilliwack, that brings back memories. Was one of the places were were to stop for a couple of nights on our road trip as one of my business (ex) partners lives there. The trip got cancelled April last year.

interesting that on one of gromette videos the pilot was saying that the town was unscathed as it was built on slightly higher ground from the flooding and that the flooded area had originally been a lake years ago..

lesson maybe, don't build on flood plains..

My cousin used to live there for many years until they moved to a beautiful sea front house at Powell River. Hope is a place we used to stop for Refreshments and also somewhere near there I panned for gold - and found some

If you look at the second video Grom's posted at around 42 seconds you can see the RV dealership and the fire has gone out.
