    I have been using ZenMate to suggest that my IP address is in the US, thus allowing me to access Hulu.
    This week, Hulu have apparently prevented access to their site for those using Zenmate, any suggestions?

    Zenmate works on Chrome..

    And the purpose of your post is:

    A. Show what a clever person I am?

    B. I have a technical question and would like some advice?

    Answers on a postcard. ::bigsmile:

    I don't know about the OP, but I find your post ever so slightly Dark. Perhaps yours is to show what a smart**** can be like?

    Have just spoken to my semi tame boffin and he confirms what you are saying. He also tells me its a work in progress and he thinks there is a temporary way round it. He is just busy at the minute with some other stuff that is way beyond my comprehension, but will post something later.

    Right.,,,

    In simple terms....

    There is a site in the USA called HULU, that shows a lot of films and series (Doc Martin) etc etc all really good progs.

    Its restricted to residents of the USA, so to view them you must have an US IP address. So an add on to Chrome was a very small but effective package called Zenmate, a quick click of the mouse and suddenly your IP address was in the USA, China, Germany UK etc.

    Now Hulu have picked up on this and insist that you switch off your anon address, so no more 'free' TV.

    Zen Mate was also very good re BBC iPlayer, when you were outside the UK.

    Does that help?

    Will have a look at "Hotspot shield", Ta
