Rear axle weight could be interesting with a car on the back.

Its 14tonne gvw so rear axle weight is probably at least 8 if not a bit more. Dont forget Brakes and people use similar setup so SWL for the tailift could well be 1500kgs.

I think them Smart things only weigh 750 Kgs or there abouts.

My Volvo FM 400 is quieter than my IVECO Daily, and a pleasure to drive. It will be well within it’s weights but possibly close on the 60% rear overhang . Would like to see better rear marking though!

Those tail lifts normally take 2 x 1 Tonne pallets abreast, so a little lightweight smart car won't be a problem.
I too would prefer better lighting and markings on the rear of it, and also the tail lift to be more horizontally level, but TBH, I quite like the idea myself. 🙂

Cheers,

Jock. 🙂

I'd be more concerned about the wheel ties - pretty casually attached.

Wouldn’t want to crash into the back off it that’s right at eyeline when in a motorhome or large vehicle, there’s no rear crash guard under it.
Your allowed upto 2m overhang with proper markers, must have passed an Mot

Looks more like a dust bin lorry conversion, so that Smart on the back is angled in the right direction to drop into it. 🤭
