At some time along the way .
Can be found on Polarteps pic along the way Old Gaffa.
Looking forwards to the drive around the M25-M20/A20 NOT!

Hope you get to see them. We went for a week January and got to see them a bit each night with a superb long lasting show on the night before we left. It was absolutely amazing - I actually cried!

We were heading back down this time 2 years ago on our trip that took almost exactly 5 weeks

We got up to Narvik and the Lofotens, we went up through Norway and down through Sweden, roads in Norway are much slower

We had brilliant Aurora sightings for more nights than we didn’t once up to the Arctic circle

Norway makes a much better feature of crossing the arctic circle than Sweden ? visitor centre with free parking compared to lay by with sign in need of painting

Enjoy

Good luck for a good trip.

Keep us posted. We like piccies, don't forget.

Have a great time!

We did the trip last year and are now again in Norway above the artic circle. We love the freedom here and, of course, the amazing scenery! We saw a fantastic display of the northern lights... I have one of the photos as my avatar :)

Different story over here ,pull out to overtake one lorry and find they're like processionary caterpillars twenty odd nose to tail.?
Other than a couple of fender benders an uneventful boring drive up.
Now parked for the night at a free Aire close to Rostock ferry booked 07:30 tomorrow to Sweden.
sat having a cold one enjoying the views

But enjoying the traveling.

Now parked up in Sweden by another freebie lake .
Can't pronounce the name even when sober
The second English review name is familiar .

Will have a scout around tomorrow, but for now it's time to try the local lager @3.5%
Weather still being good dry and warm ,now just a little chill.

That’s a monster drive today , just remember if you plan to drive back down through Norway it would be a near miracle to cover 300 miles a day

Hope you get to see the lights sometime soon ?

Evening all just small steps the last couple of days .now just into Finland .
Go and see Santa tomorrow not sitting on his knee though:D2
Another quiet out of the way place again last night but no signal.
And caught glimpses of the northern lights just to the right of the tree

You have made great time, have you actually stopped driving?

A steady plod and roads are nigh in empty .
I think the speed limits here are advisory :D2 as we are on the limit mostly and vehicles overtaking like we are parked .
Always find a hideaway for us flt's
BBQ/firepit already there with dry wood and water nearby to douse it
You won't get that on a French Aires .
Long drop toilets and clear water nearby
whats not to like

Me I just have a finepix and phone or tablet .
And that was just on the edge of seeing them according to the app.

And laying up for a day at Santas village.
Before heading across to Narvic & try our hand at fishing
Then slow it down a bit and get some sightseeing in .
Something we didn't wat to do on the way up.
The main reason we are getting a move on Jan now has to be back in Bristol for another eye opp on the 11/10..
Have a brilliant day all the sun is out here and time for another coffee

Evening all
Well after a late start we had a short drive up to the Artic Circle centre/Santa Clause Village it was like being at Trago mills in Devon everything overpriced ,tat for the tourist .lots of camera wielding Chinese :D
But that's another one off my bucket list.
And the weather still being kind to us

Another 10 foot I'd be in the lake
But what a view from the bedroom window
