I know old-mo just had a thread to ask this question, but didn't want to hijack his thread.

So how would we work out the value of our current van? Looking to change but due to a potential house move would rather sell this one than part exchange when we order the new one; but how do we know what we could sell it for?

I haven't found any other used Ayers Rock when googling, unless I've missed something. We don't have a pop-top and it only sleeps 2, we have an underslung gas tank and E&P levellers.

Look at vans with similar layouts
Globecar are out the same stable i think?
I can't think there are many second hand Ayers Rocks about yet
Gas tank and levellers are attractive but probability don't add much to overall value

There aren't many 5.4m used vans out there of a similar age, so hard to tell.

If it’s an auto I’ll give you 30k for it.... without even seeing it....👍🏼😊
Its an auto, but we're wanting more than 30k! :p

I would probably look at a few vans a similar age and style for sale and look at the% of new price being asked. I think the EP etc might add a bit to the value but not much although they might make it easier to sell.

I would ring a couple or three of the multitude of advertisers in the back of the mags who “want your van”

Its value is more than that, but you have a starting point
