Easiest way..... check the battery voltage..
Start the engine and check again
If its working it will go up :)
Doesn't go up when engine started and revved ..solar is charging OK reads about 13.2.Will check to see if wire loose.

It's a good idea to check the starter battery voltage as well. If its voltage goes up when the engine is running then at least you know the alternator is charging OK.

That will/should be the same as at the leisure battery.
Leisure battery is easier to find.
yes the leisure battery is easier to find but no power from the relay can be traced back etc

Agreed, but as the OP is asking how to check so his knowledge of 12v electrics is limited, he may not know what to look for when identifying a relay.
Plan of actions
No power at battery > check relay output, no power > check relay input, no power > check battery to relay fuse then battery connection.
