Hi
As some of you may have seen from my other thread, I lost use of air con and blower speeds 1-3 on my Ducato x250 (2009) 3.0l d on the way down to Spain.

A common fault was the heater blower resistor to which I have now replaced with a new one.
Unfortunately it still doesn’t work.
(Below is photo of old resistor)

I’m finding now that the blower will work on 0 (zero) but not on settings 1-4.
When I push the outer circle dial (controlling hit to cold) it intermittently works.

I’m now wondering if there’s a loose connection behind it whether it’s knackered?

Does anyone know how to remove the below blower dial facia or do I have to remove half the dash?
My radio is above it and I’d prefer not to remove this as I’ve not got the removal pin key with me.
Thanks a lot

My x244 gave all the symptoms of a failed resistor pack but it turned out to be a faulty fan speed switch.
It was necessary to remove the radio to do it and I'm sure yours will be the same

Thanks guys.
I’ve just watched that clip Two on Tour thanks. I do t want to tackle removing half of the dash to get to it incase I disturb something else.
Figaro i think you could be right.
I’ll admit defeat and wait until I get home - at least I can order the part when it’s all stripped out.
Thanks again
