Can anyone advise me how I source a rear light fitting for our Carthago.
I put my hands up to damaging the MH a couple of months ago. We are still waiting for it to go into the paint shop, they are closed but hoping to reopen in a couple of weeks. We thought we could maybe order a light fitting in advance, but other than Carthago we don’t know who to contact.
I can’t find a makers name on the fitting.
Any thoughts please.

Do you have a picture?

The white on the outer edge is remains of duct tape. It’s that edge that’s missing.

Most fittings are Hella.

Have a look here, if you find a match at least you will have a part number.

I can see a picture of the fitting in a couple of the catalogues but just says "customer specific".
Could be Carthago dealer only supply..

A milestone. HELLA develops the vertically aligned, customer-specific multi-functioning rear lamps for Carthago using glowing body technology.

Any Carthago dealer or probably better give Chris at Reliance a ring, they are service agents for Carthago. If you want to save a few bob contact some German dealers, Carthago & Hymer parts always a lot cheaper in Germany.

Question, why is it going to a paint shop?

Looking at the photo it looks like GRP with a Gel coat finish. If it is it shouldn't go anywhere near a paint shop.
Need to go to a GRP man best ones are normally boat repairs they will do an immaculate job, had a repair done on my last van by one.

Paint shop was a generic term. It's going to a body shop that builds GRP horse boxes. It's not badly damaged, bottom sill and a scuffed garage door, still expensive, but cheaper than claiming on insurance.
