I have to replace the blind on my habitation door as it is torn. To do this, I have to remove the plastic cover on the inside of the door. I have removed all the clips but the interior door release handle is still holding the cover in place. How to I remove the handle? There appears to be 4 screws which are covered with blank plugs. However, these plugs are very tightly fitted and there is no chance of getting a screwdriver under them. Also they appear to be made of very hard plastic.

Looks like the same plugs that are around window frame. A fine blade should get them out. They are tight fitting.

You remove those four plastic plugs, and get access to screws. And if you are like the person who removed mine, you don’t replace the caps after. I keep meaning to see if I can buy replacements.

I just use a thin electrical flat screwdriver, last time I did it, I got replacements from Screwfix, I think?

Thanks all. They look like they are quite tightly fitted but I will try a Stanley knife and report back, probably less a finger or two!
