Does anyone know how I remove the front of this panel. The on off switch isn’t working.

I believe you press in on the outside, side edges of the grey panel.
Which unclips the whole grey panel complete with the switch panel attached

We have an Dometic 8xxx series fridge which through a wobblily and would not switch off some time ago, and I pulled out the fridge fuse on our fuse board, left it for a minute and then replaced the fuse which reset the system and it's been as right as rain since.

Thanks. I will take the fuse out for now as it’s just beeping away.

Thanks everyone. The fridge is in really tight and I can’t move it to get the full grey bit off. I tried the fuse in and out idea but that didn’t work so at the moment the fuse is out to stop the fridge beeping.

It wouldn't be as simple as you have your fridge set to EHU and your not at present on hookup or hookup has a problem ?
No it doesn’t matter what it’s set on.

Sorry to hijack the thread i got a very similar fridge with removable freezer but my freezer wont come out I undid the 2 clips underneath but it is not budging?

Have a look at your picture and above the yellow sticker is what looks like a release press is the one on the other side also?
And 2 more same positions under the grey panel, press them in and it may just! release the grey panel

I just done it the the clips undo then slide them towards the center of freezer. It was easy when you know how:giggle:

Sorted! I went on the Murvi Owners forum and someone had changed the control panel over for an automatic one. He explained how to get the control panel off, the black section(clip at the bottom and then 2 at top). I removed the control panel but unfortunately the front of the control panel appears to be glued. Anyway I gave up, put it back in and now my fridge is working again.
Now I think I’m a wizard repairer and I am considering swapping my control panel over for an automatic one.

Yes I can’t get my freezer out as the fridge door is in the way and I can’t move my fridge.

It’s really not necessary. How hard is it to push a button? Fridges stay cold for quite a while you don’t really need instant action.

No but I had one on my previous van and did prefer it. Anyway I have thought about the cost of forgetting to switch it over from gas to electric and the cost of gas probably costs a lot less than an auto panel. I think I was just getting carried away with my new DIY skills.
