How to delete a post?

Can't work out how to delete a post if you have inadverntadly double posted. All I can manage is just to 'Edit' the unwanted one down to a full stop (a space doesn't work) and then to save.

You can't delete a post completely but there's a window of time (30 mins?) when you can edit it (as you've discovered) by removing your second lot of text and replace it with just e.g. 'Duplicated' or a full stop.

Do as you have done ..or mark it "duplicate" then press report and ask for deletion.
