Hi folks,

In my Knaus I need to change one of the small interior halogen bulbs, but I cant figure out how to get the old bulb out !

I've even removed the whole lamp fitting, but am still stuck.
In the pics below you can see there is a black plastic ring holding the bulb into the eyeball thingy. I've poked, prodded & twisted all I dare, but cant how it comes apart.

Any ideas, (apart from a BFH ::bigsmile: ) ?

Mine have 2 pins on the bottom & only need pulling out. I use gaffer tape stick it to the bulb not the surround, & give a quick tug, that works for me

hmm. I tried pulling it & tried pushing from behind, but no joy.

The 3 little tabs seem to be holding it in ?

Maybe I'll try pulling harder on it & see.

Cheers,
Declan

Remove the black 'circlip' plastic bit round the edge of the bulb (small screwdriver blade) and use some gaffa tape on bulb face to remove bulb.

aha. Success ! ::bigsmile:

I didnt remove the plastic clip, cant see how it comes off.

I pushed the bulb with a screwdriver from behind, levered against the bulb holder, & out it came :)

Thanks :)

easy way to get 'em out.

a kids rubber suction cup tipped arrow or dart or one of those suction cup plastic hooks....no good as a hook anyway.:Doh:
pull the rubber off and stick it in a drawer....saves hunting for gaffa tape.
