The plastic front part of the roof is covered in filth from the last few months, some of it is very gritty. Okay I need to wash it off, but what I would like to find out from funsters is this. What is the best product to use to get the shine back similar to when it was new back in 2015. I have tried all sort of plastic cleaners and none seem to work, it remains a matt white.

So help and advice on actual use please.

Forgot to add it is an Eldiss 175

If it's GRP it will be oxidisation in the Gel coat. You need to use a GRP restorer fine to medium cut as Gel coat on motorhomes is quite thin. You need to do it once leave it 10 days then do it again, then polish & finally wax. Make sure all the products you use are GRP friendly don't use anything with silicone in it.

jezport sells a good restorer.

Lenny, I believe it is fibreglass, similar to what boats are made of.

I have read somewhere of a substance that will do the job, but I cannot find it.

Many thanks
