How to bring an "ad" to peoples attention.

As the title, I have an ad in the items for sale that is months old but "bumping it" will get it deleted by management so how can I bring it to the attention of any interested parties.

I think you may have already done this, Just edit the add with more info or price reduction then post the fact that you have done this by replying to your own add.
