I like the Morelo’s but the garage just isn’t tall enough to take a proper motorbike.

No not glass, the flush fitting ones that appears as glass ,double glazed of course.
I manage to keep them without scratches through proper management.
Enjoy your Centurion it would be my choice if I had HGV licence and not as old.

To be fair I did whinge and grumble a bit at the MORELO sales manager that they had wasted a load of height in the bedroom that could have been better utilised in the garage as you are right it isn't even as tall as our Flair, I think if pushed they might do a special with a higher bed but the door height would be the same unless they have a taller door from the Empire range, they told me it would be the same so we didn't push it and further as we only have a SH125 but I wanted it to go in with mirrors and top box on still, I think it will (y) most people want the low bed to hobble into.

It does look good, you can have the glass windows and side panels as C Centurion as an option on the Palace now but of course it adds KG's and € to the final spec.

Hang on I'll just ask the technical dept? funflair what do you recko. Martin? I'm willi g to bet there is.
Beat you to it Jon, see reply above, the Palace will be 1350mm inside with the door opening 1270, our Flair was 1380 inside and 1300 for the door opening, I can make it work even if I have to put a strap around the front forks, a G version (car garage) would make a great garage for a couple of bikes, and it depends what you call a "proper bike" KTM in bigtree 's case possibly.

Although the interwebby thingy tells me the 790 Duke is 1058mm ?

I’m pumping up Concorde here but my SH125 goes in the Garage with the mirrors and box along with two Mountain Bikes.

Hi Martin, has the dimensions reduced recently from 1270mm to 1230mm as all the stats for the Palace in the MY20 brochure are saying 1230mm(H) x 1120mm(W).

I'm interested in the motobike concept too. I've checked all of my bike heights today and at least three of them will definelty fit a Palace (RSV1000R, TLR1000R and YZF1000R), albeit Nicky wouldn't ride on the back of any of them so we're a bit stuffed.

However, the big drawback for me is that each bike weighs c.200kg so I can't see that being a moveable weight in that type of restrictive apperture.

.......and I refuse to ride a scooter.

The Loft and the Home dimensions are even worse (designed for pushchairs and skateboards only it seems).

Well spotted Sir it is indeed 1230mm on my crib sheet as well, I took a tape measure to Stuttgart and made notes (y)

You can see how they all "stack up" against the Flair

Think it's taller than that Martin, I didn't measure that today but measured the 690 Duke. It's taller than the 790 @ circa 1300mm. The door opening on my Frankia is 1375mm,so can load the bike no problem.

Just as well Nicky isn’t keen riding pillion as you would definitely struggle with any on your PVC :LOL: however, Scooter isn’t at all embarrassing when you pull it out of the back of a £200k - £300k Motorhome and it does get you to the Shops/Bars and The best Restaurants in Town:LOL::LOL:, I keep meaning to ask how you work the Oven,Wash up etc;)

Yep, agreed,

I'm still not buying a scooter though; My pals would call me a soft bollox regardless of which MoHo I/we owned.

Be a fine fellow and explain the oven and washing up thing for me please. I'm just about to finish this bottle of red and everything is becoming a wee bit fuzzy.

Not much will give you that door height nowadays IMO so best keep it (y)

Okay I measured both bikes today to the top of the mirror,
Duke 690 - 1370mm
Duke 790 - 1270mm
I really don't want to have to keep taking mirrors off and on.
