How small is 'small' in terms of this mini-forum? - my fully-equipped panel van is 5 meters but is this too big for you lot? Size matters!!!

What have I not got right Janine ? This is a section for "small motorhomes" and I know some are much tinier than mine so I wondered of folks were mostly thinking about 4 or 4.5m

Ever since lighting was by Calor gas.
I've assumed it's the Romahome type. I've had two Romahomes (4.75m long) and four Bedford Bambis (3.7m long, 970c.c. engine). I never paid more than around £1500 for each them and sold every one at a good profit.
To be honest the Bambis were the most fun of all my (later much larger) m/homes and two of us toured extensively around Europe with them, slowly, but they are well past their best now....mainly rust and damp problems.

I travelled many miles towing my motorbike to rallies at home and abroad.

No idea how long my doblo is, but it is a high top converted wheelchair van, it is too high to go under most height barriers, descrimination against those in wheelchairs. not right.
Our local park has a height barrier, which is supposedly slightly lower than my roof, but after seeing other higher vehicles in there I gave it a go with John watching, will be fine till they resurface and dont alter the barrier to suit ;)
Have previously had a romahome too, loved it just for me.
