Parked under trees, looking out towards the lake, with the fridge fans running and awning out. Ready for all the weekend arrivals so I can watch the chaos. 37 degrees today and hotter tomorrow.

I am going to struggle today.
Parked on Mother’s driveway, caring for her as she is 2 days out of hospital with broken ribs after a fall.
Unfortunately, I also have a very boisterous cocker spaniel with me who has been confined to the van so far.
It’s likely to be to hot to leave him in the van but scared to take him into the house in case he tries to sit on Mother’s lap.
I have a bottle of wine ready for later........ 🤣

Wouldn't want to live in a house without external shutters again - brilliant for keeping the interior cool in summer and warmer in winter (y)
Yes most spanish here rarely lift there roller shutter blinds in summer.
Not looking forward to the day at all. My little brother’s funeral. The big C claims another innocent sole.
So sorry to hear that & I hope all goes as well as it can.
e van but scared to take him into the house in case he tries to sit on Mother’s lap.

Hot air rises? Well, it certainly does on here... ;)
No good here, our attic gets scorching hot so it would actually push hot air down into our lovely cool bungalow! :giggle:

I was supposed to be putting some new panels on the front of the garages today ... that ain't gonna happen!!! Last week when it was a hot day I did some fence staining and didn't feel well by the end of it due to the sun, even though I didn't feel overly hot, it was obviously too much so I ain't taking no risks this time! Good excuse to chill in our lovely cool bungalow .... 😁 ...

Did I tell you I have a lovey cool bungalow???? :cooler: (Don't be deceived by it's cuteness ... it's massive!)

Attics get ridiculously hot.
If it hit's 40c in the shade outside, it will hit 50c+ in the attic

Mine has a window which I've opened.
As hot air rises hopefully I can keep the inside of the house below 30c

(It's 26c inside and 34c outside in the shade at the moment.)

I feel for the poor sods stuck in tail backs on a day like this after a 2 lorry and car crash still on going after the crash at 7.30am this morning, one lorry driver arrested, suspicion of drug driving.
A bit further South on the A1 close with another incident.

I'm chillin' in the beautiful Shropshire hills at Smallbatch Campsite.
Chuckling at the tuggers and their antics getting set up.

Google is quoting 60 minutes to travel the 19 miles through those incidents.
I'll bet in reality its a lot longer than that
