I am off on Friday night and I plan to take two 13kg propane bottles both full. This should last me 3 weeks shouldn't it ? I have never really kept an eye on my use as haven't had van that long.

As usual thanks in advance for any help Paul

As long as it does not get too cold, when really cold you could get through one in under a week.

It all depends on the weather, it should be alright but you never can tell, which is why I changed to refillable. Good luck. (y)

Depends how hot you want your van and if you are EHU. 23rd June I filled up both my 11 kg bottles. I've spent 4 weeks away on holiday, no EHU, lots of weekends. One of the bottles finally run out end of Septrmber. You should be fine (y)

I could take a half empty one for emergency I'm heading south so hope weather is kind to us

The question is a bit like will 4 toilet rolls be enough.

Last year we went to Spain in march and the nights got nippy. I had two small calor lite bottles and my heating was gas as was my hot water the fridge was on electrics for approx ten days. After three weeks my gas had not run out. Most cooking was done outside using the Cobb or charcoal bbq.

Last year we travelled for three months into Spain and Portugal. Weather warm and we were on EHU most nights so never even used half of a 13kg bottle.

But if in UK in November with no EHU you could well use it all in a week.

Where are you going ? Your van is similar to mine and probably doesn't have the electric option on the Truma heating, we carry a small electric fan heater for when we're on hook up. If we don't need the heating on, we can run the fridge, heat the water and cook and last at least 3 weeks on one 11kg Gaslow bottle.

Where am I going ? That's a great question one I keep asking the bride She also keeps asking me same question. I have tunnel booked late Friday night and I will head south I would like to find some warmth and sunshine
