How much do you pay for your gas?

Here in scotland prices vary for blue calor greatly
A 15kg bottle is 28 quid at my local garage, but working today at loch awe i was quoted 42 and 39 ind a couple of places 5 miles apart.
How does that compare to the rest of uk?
Wheres the cheapest bottled gas?

Gas is expensive in the UK unless you get refillables in which case 11kg is around 12- 15 quid

its possible to fill most bottles , but calor light and a few others do need a different adaptor than normal to fill.
been filling bottles since the 70,s so think over the years i have filled a few.
but if in spain using their bottles is cheaper than auto gas ,plus in africa gas bottle exchange is very cheap.
try ebay ... lpg gas bottle fillers .....lots to choose from.

... or preferably don't ... it is NOT safe to do IMV, some do it, that's their risk, but I would never suggest anyone else does it ... there are threads on here about it so if you feel like having a shuftie do a search for them.

Refill was 45 dirhams.

6kg propane (that''s the red one?) £16.75 from our local HSS hire shop. It''s not that cheap at others though, the manager has taken it on himself to sell it at that price. Makes sure he gets our custom. Sick as a parrot when we had to pay £22.50 from a campsite in Stranraer the other week.

Both of the buggers were empty ! Been running off a Spanish bottle when I ran out and forgot to refill .. Done now though
