How is your weather ?

Clear blue sky on the top on Ben Nevis today.
But was not expecting snow in July!

After two weeks away in the van with mostly dry weather I came home to repair a wooden building that has rotted along one side. Any idea of getting it dry to start work are a lost cause. One dry day has been followed by several wet days since we got home.
Maybe between now and the end of August when we are away again I will get the work done.

Don't go lettin them wrong uns in from t'other side of the big divide, they will be raping our cattle and pillaging t'women folk before you can say * Has tha got now't moist to put on t'chips?* You know what they are like when they get a touch o'sun

Had a great morning out in Banbury then a little rain but managed a walk. Now back at the caravan and normal service has been restored, it's p!$$ing down again. We did manage to get the awning packed away dry ready for going home tomorrow

It’s cold and wet here in London.

In fact it’s bloody horrible:mad:

After a lot of grey drizzly days in Dumfries & Galloway, I've had to resort to an aire with EHU to top up my batteries.

Managing around the mid 20s recently but so much rain. Apparently we have already had this year's total average rainfall and the river is still flowing in July; for the first time since we bought this house in 1989. The sun is very high so we are keeping the pool up to temperature without too much heating. We are planning a trip around the Dordogne for a week or so from Friday so that should jinx it! That is only a couple of hours away so we can always come home.

Just had two lovely days on Ile de Ré. Rain due overnight.
I almost went there today taking people back to the airport and not paying attention to the signs! Wandering around the oil refinery was not how they expected to end their holiday.
