We picked up our new Burstner A Class IXEO i720 yesterday.....:D:D:D:D:D:D

Bought from Southdowns Motorhomes in Portsmouth. Really good experience - the handover lasted 3 hours, very detailed, no rush and clear explanation on all the bits and bobs... The real test of course will be when something fails, goes wrong, drops off etc., and how they respond to rectify, but so far very impressed

Off down to Vanbitz on Monday for solar, Strikeback growler, tracker, 2nd leisure battery and battery master fitting. (y)

This weekend, the Beauty Terrorist and I are “discussing”...( ie I am told ...), where to put our contents in the various lockers, cupboards etc..

Week after, am up to Mick at SAP, to refit our E&P levelling System and heavy duty front shocks (he took them off our other Moho and stored them), he is also fitting a tow bar and spare wheel. (y)

We will then fill up full fuel, full freshwater, bike rack and bikes, Indy the dog etc etc... and go fully loaded to the weighbridge to see what it all comes to...

And then finally, off for 6 days over Easter.....

How excited are we...(y)(y)(y)

Nothing should go wrong, fall off or break. We have had our new Burstner for 5 months. The day after we picked it up we started on a 2000 mile round trip to visit family and friends in the UK. Since then we have covered another 5500 miles and still everything is in place, everything is working and nothing has fallen off or failed.

We bought our Laika from Southdowns. We’ve been extremely pleased with their service department. In case you don’t know, you can park overnight with EHU outside their showroom.

We must be odd we don't get excited when picking up a new van.
But I do get excited when I start playing with it, fitting solar panels, cameras, stereo, TV etc.
 
We bought ours from Southdowns and have been really pleased both with our vehicle and with the back up service.
