How early should I book ferry for July 2015? (1 Viewer)

We are heading from Rosslare to Cherbourg / Roscoff next summer and was wondering when the best time to book is? Stenaline is taking bookings already. Thanks

normally the earlier you book the cheaper it is. but remember some times there are last minute deals. not so sure if they do deals on the route you planning to use.

If they are like Brittany Ferries they just take a deposit of about £25.00 and take the balance a few weeks before the trip - but make a note when this is going to happen as I booked our Plymouth/Santander trip months ago and then got a mild shock when my current account went massively into the red! Not a problem but I had forgotten to set a reminder so I could ensure there were sufficient funds in the account.
