I have a 2004 Autosleeper Inca, it's fitted with a Sureflow Diaphragm pump, which seems to work OK. (sort of).

However after not using the taps for awhile, say.. more then 30 minutes, the pump starts but it can take a few minutes before water come from the taps almost like an airlock or when starting after a drain down, then it works fine... the water come out just like a 'normal' tap.. no pulsating just a smooth supply of water.

I'm not sure how the system works, does the pump create pressure somewhere, or does it actually move the water?

Thanks..

It may be the non return valve has failed, when it happened to me I fitted a new one just after the pump
Would that be the round plastic thing on the side of the pump?

I think on mine the non return valve is inside the pump so I left it alone and fitted an inline one

That is probably an accumulator. Have you got a picture?
I'll have to take a picture later, it's a bit awkward, means taking out the 'floor' of the wardrobe.

Think that is the filter.. round, plastic with a clear globe sphere.
The accumulator is a large rugby ball shape and usually blue.. larger than the pump.

I'd look at the pump but also make sure there aren't any leaks we had one in the pipework behind the shower and it would be better picking up any leaks sooner rather than later!
