I would think all you have to do is keep your keyless fob far enough from the door / window for this exploit to work. My fob seems to need to be within 24" of the car to work.Will we have to wrap our keys in aluminium foil?

Not sure it has to be keyless entry. Many remote lock/unlock systems are capable of being beaten by similar devices. It is the cars ability to remotely communicate with the vehicle manufacturer that helps to make this possible. I ensure all keys and fobs are kept well away from doors and windows. Can't be too careful, remember just when you think its safe .......!!!!View attachment 198936 Tis a scary video, glad our Mercedes doesn't have keyless entry.
