In Windows 10, after an update, this flippin "we really want to help you" screen keeps popping up.
If I want it, I'll chuffin well ask for it! , in the meantime leave me alone!

PLEASE tell me there's a way I can loose it?

Rant over.........Iyyyyyyyyy thankyou. :)

Since 1964 Gosh that makes me feel old.
Go to setting (bottom left of screen) then click on the windows icon, you'll get a menu, scroll right down it & near the end is "Control Panel" go in there & find the pop up blocker, active that & this should stop.

Buy a Mac
ymmv but my Mac using AWS colleagues have to take their laptops back to base when that OS dies - & some more than once.
Usually its the system updates that go wrong that for a similar issue on a Windows PC a rollback will sort out.

Looking at our IT conversation channel now, its Mac users need lots of support.

I've had to use many operating systems for work. (e.g. Mac based Final Cut Pro & Avid Media Composer NLE; Linux based servers for media tasks. etc.)
I appreciate that my MS preference is more due to starting with DOS & Win 3 but I would not voluntarily switch to a Mac
A Linux OS with lots of compatibility with the Windows Apps is more likely.
