How do i put a DVD on a tablet PC??

    Title says it all really . I have a Samsung Q1 Ultra and want to put a few DVDs on it to watch whilst on the plane....anyone know what i need and how to do it?? :Doh:

    I assume the tablet pc does not have an internal dvd drive?

    You'll need to have a usb dvd drive .

    If you can convert the dvd to a .mov format or mp4 it'll play ok from a file.

    You do push the limits.

    I assume this is you off to Turkey.....:RollEyes:

    Thanks for that Steve. I have an external USB DVD drive. Do i need any software to convert a DVD to the file format you suggest??:thumb:

    And no im not off to Turkey (just got back :thumb::ROFLMAO:) But we might be doing 1 to Egypt before Chrimbo :winky::thumb:

    You will need to have some sort of DVD reader software such as Power DVD or Nero.

    I use DVDShrink to compress the video down. >>DVDSHRINK<<

    I'll have a look later.Hopefully you've still got the copy of DVD player.:winky::thumb:

    Hi Steve.

    Thanks for that i do still have a copy of the DVD player. I will download the software you mentioned onto the lappy and see how it goes :thumb:.

    Yes Egypt can be a bit whiffy but the diving is the best ive ever seen and the weather at this time of year is second to none :thumb: :winky:.

    Oh yes and its bloody cheap to go ..............result !!!!:ROFLMAO:
