How do I add small Avatar

Hi All
I have tried to up load my avatar but the site keeps rejecting it as to big,I have saved it as 80*80 and compressed it as much as i can down to 28kb but the site says max 12kb Am i doing something wrong?

Hi hogan. The maximum size in pixels is 19kb. If you have the paint program on your computer? You can resize it on there.

hi if you have got ... paint .... go to image on tool bar then skew and strech then reduce the image by what you need ! to check it!!! go to image again pull down attributes to check if the size is within limits

you resize some pictures then put them in a folder called forum avatars
