As some will know I have been having a few days away with my wife in the van touring up north, my only issue is how dirty she got, I had a good look at her today and my mud flaps have definitely helped but there is still spray around the bodywork and my tyres are filthy ?.

My bed is being put right tomorrow morning then will be heading home, I wondered how often you get yours valeted as was going to get mine booked in ASAP as it’s a disgrace, I think the black shows up the dirt more!

Here are a couple of pictures of her ?

We got back last week after spending nearly three weeks in Southern Ireland, compared to ours yours looks sparkling clean. Bucket of soapy water and hose soon had it back to a clean presentable condition. Have had our van for 9 years from new and never had a valet always done it my self. It gets washed after every trip and polished once a year.

I guess my last one didn’t go out in rain or dirt or in fact at all so was always immaculate, just shocked to see a dirty van and filthy tyres, once I get home will get the valet guys round and then tuck her away until July for her French trip ?

Our house cleaner does the inside once a month, it’s just the outside the valet guys do, so would only be a few hours work and they have all the cloths and brushes ?

It’s a shame you are not using your van for such a long time . Can’t you do weekends away ?

I really can't be reading this.... A few hours!
1/2 an hour with a bucket and sponge.
I've seen dirtier in showrooms

Not really as we are on our boat most weekends, we normally spend Christmas in Barbados but this year we are in bloody Walsall, don’t ask it’s a family thing ? Anyway I was thinking of taking her up there and after the family Christmas do a few days around Cheddar area, any advice appreciated, we would then either spend New Year on our boat or if we found a site with a great New Year party go there, I did look but most seem to only be for mobile homes not motorhomes or caravans, they seem to shut down for that. We can’t do next Easter as we are in Barbados so that’s it before France all next summer. Last Christmas I thought I had avoided Barbados but we ended up in the bloody Bahamas, then to make matters worse went to the Cayman Islands for a New Years party, we then had the Easter in Barbados this year, it’s always bloody hot places ?. Mind you the choice between Christmas in Walsall with relatives? hmmm give me the heat any day ?

The outside dirt isn't too much of a problem it is inside the wheel arches ,under the rear scuttle etc; that I am ocd about. I like to be able to eat my dinner off the underside.

It’s the camera I think, it really is filthy, there is mud both sides of the mud flaps and on the alloy wheels as well ? I will try and get some dirty pictures of her tomorrow ?

Oh I’m exactly the same, rotting wheel arches are the devil, I now have air suspension so need that lifted up to max and polished ?

I.. Err. Are... Is it.. Oh dear. Sorry.. I think I'm either speechless or struck dumb with sheer envy. :(

You always manage to digress and find something!
I don’t understand what your on about, just explaining a situation, I really don’t know what I should not explain or should explain ?
