Today On another thread I was explaining the reason for my grandson looking for a replacement small car due to a no fault accident - I have just received a call (on my mobile) from an “accident chaser”!! Coincidence or what!!! Needless to say they got short shrift.

I get about 2 or 3 of them a week, and we have a call guard phone
Depending on my mood they will either get an F off, or a yes..
If a yes then put through to a handler and I lead them on a 10 minute dance explaining the accident.. They get very excited ( hit from behind while slowing for traffic is my favourite ) and when they have really got the bit in their teeth and after they have all the details logged down, I then say 'I am really surprised I can claim.. I do not think anyone else in the race knows you can claim either'

They want to waste my time ? Only fare I reciprocate !

I say ohh yea that was the accident where my brother got killed 3 months ago, that shuts them up straight away and they cut me off lol
