Hi I am sure this question has been asked numerous times but I wonder if any funsters can recommend any insurance companies that offer 90 days household insurance?

Many thanks

Short while after a gap of many years.
@berlingo1 - Join C&CC - you can then get a quote for up to 365 days a year away from their house insurance agents - which is what I did :)

Try Nationwide, maybe 91 or 63, but they "say" all it needs is someone to spend the night to reset the clock!!!!!

We have home insurance with Lloyds. If we are away more than 30 days (house unoccupied) we lose our ‘All risks’ accidental damage insurance but maintain our building and contents insurance. We have to re-instate our all risks upon our return.

Churchill will do up to 90 days with no added premium but stipulate some conditions including isolation of services, gas water and electric except in winter where heating is kept on low. They also limit cover for personal possessions and money during the unoccupied period. I asked and they sent me the schedule of requirements which I can act on if necessary.
