My current house insurance expires soon - a key clause is that it limits the maximum length of time that the house can be left unoccupied.

Can anyone recommend particular companies that are suitable for motorhomers who are spending some months away ....

.... or is there a way around this situation?

Thanks for that - does any one else know any other companies? It is always best to get competitive quotes.

Or has anyone had any experience with telling their current insurance company that they are going away for an extended period of time?

Our house policy says we must have someone to stay if we are absent for more than 31 days. So we ask friends and daughters to stay.
