We were at Port Grimaud a month ago. Temperature average of 32 - 33 degrees. Hot enough for me!
How did you find the traffic around the bay?

Took an hour from port Grimaud to St Maxinne on way home. Always busy along that stretch so use bikes

Saint Maxime is one of my favorite places in France. I was there last August and was way to hot for me

We were at Holiday Marina resort. Wow, now there’s somewhere that knows how to charge. Very nice, but not worth that No.

camping de la plage right on the beach.
About €40 a night for two and dog.
Nice site but the location is mega. 70 m and in the sea. If you pay extra for front 10m in the sea

Funny you say that they have lost five or so pitches to erosion. The pitches now have chesnut pailing fence around them creating a dune with vegetation to prevent more.
