We use both, 12v endless breeze and a 240v that uses bugger all power, lets face it, if we need cooling there's plenty of sun to replenish the batteries via our solar☀️

Ditto, we also have both. The 12volt one is wire in and we just take the 240v one as required. The plus point of the latter is we also use it at home.

I suppose the point of starting this thread was to find out whether, battery wise, it's better to run a 240v fan off an inverter or a 12v fan direct. Along with any other pros and cons of course.
