I'm a newbie
The hot air heater in my Burstner A576, is great, but does it use the water up in the fresh water tank.
Cheers

Firstly hello and welcome from West Midlands. 👍
You could think of your heating as being a bit like your car heater. There is water in your radiator which heats the air which blows into the passenger area to heat it. The water remains within the system though so does not get 'used' as such.

I'm trying to guess why you think there might be a reason. The blown air heater and the water heater are in the same heater/boiler unit. The water tank has a frost protection valve which opens and dumps water in the water heater if the temperature falls below about 6 degrees. It also opens if the leisure battery is isolated/disconnected. It probably needs to be manually closed. You may have seen a pool of water on the ground under the heater, perhaps when you were trying out the heater.
