The Horn on our Fiat based Rapido Motorhome is pathetic & embarrassing.
I don’t want air horns just to change it to something a bit better.
Have any funsters changed there’s and if so, what to?

I know vehicles horns are only there to alert (IMV mainly pedestrians) that you are there.
Poeple who use horns to blast at anybody and everybody, that possibly may "cut them up" are wasting their time.
Chill out and drive defensively and there is no need to constantly blasting your horn.
Not bragging but after 45 yrs of driving the only time my horn gets "honked" is when the MOT geyser does it.

They should match the vehicle though, my little Ford has a very deep horn that sounds like a truck, whilst the ole man's large Toyota has a pathetic little toot....why don't manufacturers think of these things???

Rule 1
I fitted this type and they sound a lot better
But why do you feel the need for them... who is listening to you.... are you one of those who spend your life driving around in your big/little/ponsie vehicle blasting your mega horn at anybody you take a dislike too, or get in your way (cause after all it is your bit of road, allegedly) and a quick 'HOOTLE' on your mega horn will make a difference.
Don't think so..'get a life'.
Keep your finger aff horn button, and live longer,,

WHO SAID I’M USING THE HORN ALL THE TIME, I just want it to be usefully for its use the same as the OP and others.
I hope your comment is tongue in check , if not you can stick your comment where the sun don’t shine

Same here, except normally I use it a couple of days prior to MOT to make sure it works. I forgot last time, and it didn't work :-(

I've used these before for fairly loud but nice sounding
Amazon product ASIN B000CRZXPI
You do have to install a relay if you're putting in anything bigger than standard, otherwise you risk burning out the horn switch.

For me, a tune would have to be dixie, because that's the definitive one to play on horns.
Alternatively, a Fiamm tour horn.
