I am a newbie
Was going to get a rechargeable Dyson for the MH today, went to Makro, they are about £150 so no chance. What do you do to hoover the place out while away.

We tried a 12v car vac but there was little suction. Ended up with a Dyson mini pull along. The wand is telescopic so the whole thing fits under one of the seats. It's 240v so we've got a dust pan and brush for little jobs

We bought the little Dyson rechargeable. Not cheap but it Hoovers, sorry Dysons up dog hairs which is what we got it for. Our van has carpets everywhere. A stiff brush would do the same job I guess but hard work when it is hot.

We use a thing on a long stick. I think it's called a broom! It's very good.

We have taken out the carpets that came with our van and replaced them with a large removable 'dirt grabber' rug cut to fit in 3 pieces for easy removal ... it is a nice green grass coloured one ... fortunately the dogs haven't mistaken it for real grass and Christened it!:D It can be takne outside and given a good shake to get the bits off, then our rubber headed hand brush get the dog hairs off the it a treat, for the hard floor there's a dustpan and brush and a little 12v vacuum for stuff like spilled sugar which can be a b*gger to shift otherwise, oh, and nearly forgot our 3 hairy 'vacuums' who can remove crumbs in seconds!
