Well the other day after we returned back to the motorhome we discovered that our lovely Rubi had decided to have a good chew at one of the window handles....
So where can I buy a new one, and how do you remove them from the window as I can see no screws, does it slide?

Ours have screws in the block that the handle fixes to.

Martin

EDIT could be Polyplastic "slide on type" which suggests that they slide on some how so I guess slide off as well(y)

If the original still works I'd leave it for a while until she stops otherwise it could prove expensive to keep replacing them! :D2

I agree with Minxy about not replacing it until you are sure she has stopped. We had the same problem with our kitchen dresser, got six wooden replacement handles made, and you can guess the outcome! We found the spray-on anti-chew spray useful at that stage. Naughty Rubi.

It's a Polyplastic brand window I presume? Advanced Glass Products in Droitwich are the UK Polyplastic agents - very helpful bunch - they will have one of those catches, and be able to advise on fitting.

What do you expect, with the kind of role model example you are showing, always modifying, improving, never satisfied...

Just make sure she NEVER sees this:

if you have a problem with chewing, a bit of rag round the area and dab on some Tabasco. they only chew it once more!
